What our customers say.

A better skin from within.

  • Skin

Collagen is an importing building block for healthy skin. Hydrolysed marine collagen has been proven to increase collagen levels, improve elasticity and hydration, and reduce the oil content. This leads to a more glowing skin and reduction of wrinkles.

  • Muscles

Collagen is also an important component of skeletal muscle. Studies suggest that collagen supplements help boost muscle mass. It may also stimulate muscle growth and recovery after exercise.

  • Bones and joints

Collagen helps maintain the integrity of your cartilage, the rubber-like tissue that protects your joints. Collagen also supports the loss of bone mass as you bones are mostly made of collagen.

What’s in the pouch?

  • 300 g of CollaGEM™ hydrolysed marine collagen powder - with 10g per serving, that’s enough for one month

 What is hydrolysed marine collagen?

Hydrolysed marine collagen is sourced from Tilapia fish scale and are considered to be the highest quality source of collagen.

The word “hydrolysed” means that we chopped up the collagen molecules into smaller amino acids by means of hydrolysation. In this way, your body is able to absorb the collagen more effectively. Hydrolysed marine collagen has a higher bioavailability than other sources of collagen.

Our hydrolysed marine collagen are from a Type I collagen and contain high amounts of the amino acids glycine, proline, hydroxyproline, alanine and glutamic acid.

The science behind collagen.

Collagen is often called the body’s scaffolding and it is the most abundant protein in the human body. Despite the fact that collagen is present in many of the foods that we eat on a daily basis, your body is able to produce collagen itself. But - as we age - levels of collagen in our body are dropping as your body produces less of it and breaks down more.

Research has found that supplementation with hydrolysed (marine) collagen increases levels of collagen in your body and skin. It improves elasticity and hydration, and reduces oil content. Muscles, bones and joints also benefit from increased levels of collagen.

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body, providing structure, support or strength to your skin, muscles, bones and connective tissues. It is produced by the body itself, but collagen levels go down as you age. That is because production of collagen is lower, but the body also starts to break down more collagen than it produces. Hydrolysed marine collagen provides the amino acids your body needs to naturally produce collagen.

Increasing levels of collagen in your body has benefits in many areas such as skin health, muscle recovery, bone and joint health.

+ What are the ingredients in The Skin - Hydrolysed Marine Collagen?

The Skin contains 100% pure hydrolysed marine collagen, made from farmed Tilapia fish scales.
